Get equipped to manage and implement ISO 45001:2018
Course description:
Get insights and inspiration on the transition to the current health and safety standard.
Since the first OHSAS 18001 was published in 1999, it has been a goal of The OHSAS Project Group to publish an ISO standard on occupational health and safety. This is now a reality, and ISO worked on the first standard for occupational health and safety management, ISO 45001:2018.
The development of ISO 45001:2018 has been carried out with a very large fingerprint from both Denmark and Sweden. From Denmark, Kristian Glæsel sat at the head of the working group that wrote the standard, and together with Sweden, they ensured that the secretariat kept all ends together.
ISO 45001:2018 replaces the current OHSAS 18001. This will bring consistency with other ISO management standards such as ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.
The work environment will be linked closer to the company's top management and focus more on sustainability from a very broad perspective.
ISO 45001:2018 is not a new OHSAS 18001 but a completely new standard.
As a health and safety manager, this is your chance to get to know the new requirements and understand what they mean for you in practice.
The course will provide you with a precise explanation of the standard, its content and the benefits it can bring to your organization. We will go through how to most effectively implement the individual requirements so that they can actively support your organization in achieving your goals.
