Become a certified Lead Auditor in occupational health and safety and be equipped to conduct 1st, 2nd and 3rd party audits according to ISO 45001:2018.
Course description:
ISO 45001 is a new standard and not just an update of OHSAS 18001 - the course is also a completely new approach to working with occupational health and safety management and in particular to the auditor role. So even if you have a Lead Auditor training on the old standards, we strongly recommend that you take this entire course to be best equipped to meet the challenges of this standard.
The course has two main purposes. One, of course, is that you learn the craft of "auditing" in the best possible way. The second and more important purpose is that you learn to understand the standard and how it works, which is a challenge in itself.
You will receive thorough training in conducting audits, including planning, execution, reporting, auditor role, meeting planning, checklists and handling difficult situations. You are required to actively participate in all course activities and you will be continuously assessed. You must pass the continuous assessment and the course ends with an online exam. There will be some preparation in addition to the planned course schedule.
Target group:
The course is aimed at health and safety officers, managers, auditors and people who work with health and safety management in industry, service and construction and who want a thorough and qualifying education in auditing health and safety management systems. The course is intensive and you should not expect to be able to do anything else during the week.
Benefits:
You can independently and professionally plan, conduct and report all types of audits with effective results.
Instructor:
The training is conducted by Kristian Glæsel, who has been project manager for the working group that wrote the standard and who has many years of experience with management standards in practice and teaching.
Minimum number of participants:
Basically 5 people - for synergy and knowledge sharing between participants.
