Upgrade your existing Lead Auditor training to the new ISO 14001:2015 standard, so you are well prepared for the transition and updated on the new common structure of the ISO management standards.

Course description: 
The course will give you a fundamental understanding of the new High Level Structure - the common framework for all new ISO management standards. Based on this new structure, ISO 14001:2015 is written with a fundamentally different approach and structure than ISO 14001:2004. 

This course will update your "old" Lead Auditor training so you are equipped to handle, implement and audit the new ISO 14001:2015. 
You will be given a precise explanation of the standard, its content and the benefits it can bring to your organisation. We will go through how to most effectively implement each requirement so that it can actively support your organisation in achieving your goals.

You will learn what the new structure means for you in practice, what it means for auditing the system, and how to best support the environmental efforts in your organisation. During the course, you will learn how the new structure links environmental performance more closely to the organisation's business processes in order to support the company's competitiveness. You'll get good arguments for integrating environmental efforts into the overall business process, as well as tools for prioritising the organisation's environmental efforts. 

The course does not include training in audit techniques, as this is assumed to be known material from previous Lead Auditor training.
The course is based on interactive learning and requires active participation. You will be continuously assessed and the course ends with an online exam.

Target group:
The course is aimed at anyone who already has a Lead Auditor programme in one of the management standards and wants to upgrade it to ISO 14001:2015. 

Entry requirements:
You must be able to present proof/diploma from the Lead Auditor training programme.

Yield:
You will gain a basic knowledge of the content of ISO 14001:2015 and you will be able to use the standard in the practical work of building, maintaining and auditing an environmental management system according to ISO 14001:2015. 

The course provides an understanding of the benefits of integrated management systems and how the management system creates value for the organisation.

Kristian Glæsel, who has been project manager for ISO's development of the international occupational health and safety standard, ISO 45001:2018.
